Re-connect Folkestone Businesses 2022
On Thursday 10th March, Folkestone business owners came together to re-connect as we come out of an unexpected and crazy couple of years.
It gave business owners the opportunity to meet each other, talk about challenges facing them as a business based in Folkestone and allow Folkestone Town Team to take these topics of conversation forward to help find solutions.
We would like to thank The Workshop for providing a great venue and to The Radnor Arms, Folkestone for sponsoring delicious food that everyone enjoyed.

Place Plan Event with Folkestone & Hythe District Council
Folkestone Town Team recently held an event for Folkestone business owners in partnership with Folkestone and Hythe District Council where they could come along and find out about the Folkestone Place Plan and share their thoughts on the proposed 6 priority projects.
The Place Plan development was completed and approved at Cabinet in September 2021. This identified in excess of 70 suggested interventions/actions. The detailed work currently being undertaken relates specifically to the six priority projects and results will help inform a submission for a round 2 Levelling Up Fund bid. The work will help identify which of the projects are deliverable within the fund criteria and deciding which project can have the biggest impact on Folkestone for years to come.
For all details and notes from all consultations held can be found via the following link.

If you have any comments you wish to send you can do so on the following email: place.plan@folkestone-hythe.gov.uk
We would like to thank The Burlington Hotel for hosting the event.
